<p>[Page 94]</p><p>Wednesday, 29 August 1917<br />Weather atrocious, rain wind &amp; mud.<br />Court Martials (3) read out on parade this morning. Cleared up towards evening when I wrote home and to Aunt Ben telling her that leave which I expected on Friday was off.</p><p>Thursday, 30 August 1917<br />Today has been similar to previous day, wet &amp; cold. Usual drill. Received letter from Aunt Ben.<br />In evening wrote letters as usual.</p>
