November 1916

Monday 6
Left Fricourt for Ducourt, [Dernancourt?] arrived about midday sore footed fairly miserable place, plenty of troops passing through.

Tuesday 7
Left Ducourt after dinner, marched to Ville-Sous-Corbie then got in big French Motor lorries, arrived @ another village half past seven, passed through Amiens.

Wednesday 8
Had an easy day in village of St Vasst-en-Chaussee.  Still bad feet promised leave again also complete issue of clothes and pay.

Thursday 9
Morning paraded to Doctor with bad feet, was given pills, afternoon route march, fell out on account of bad feet.
