This is the entrance to the Dardanelles and a host of battleships are lined up awaiting a chance to do a little bit of business in the bombardment line. At 4.30 we were abeam of the Island of Tenedos, from which place the news of the first bombardment of the Dardanelles was telegraphed. It is quite noticeable that summer is climbing into the Northern hemisphere, the days and nights are much warmer now than they were when we first passed into this part of the globe. Today the sun is shining brightly, the sky is beautiful and clear and the sea is quite calm. As there are 3 enemy submarines at large it behoves us to show
