March 8th At 7 a.m. Beginning to work up strongly temp 72 6 gals B. At noon thick rough head temp 78º added 10 gals B. (total 16 gals)

March 9th At 8 a.m. fermentation strong head still rough & rocky grad 1059º temp 86º

March 10th Noon fermentation subsiding Head absorbed                     1032½ temp 90º

March 11th Noon fermentation has become quite gentle racked off as below 1021º temp 90º

To No 2 Cask in cellar (nearly filled from open cask No 4)  50} gals
To No 3 Cask in cellar                                                        300}  350
