March 8th Working strongly with thick rocky head temp 82º at noon working very strongly with rough rocky head temp 86º - at 5 P.M. head no longer rocky temp 86º

March 9th 8 a.m. fermentation subsiding, head absorbed sp grav. 1039º  temp 88º

March 10th working slowly head absorbed                                      10327  temp 88º

March 11th at noon slight effervescence                                          1019º  temp 84º
racked off as follows vitz 
to No 1 cask of M. in cellar to fill up about 70 gals
to No 3 cask in cellar to fill up about         120
