I was at the Base at Havre for about five days & was in the Town for one night for which I was up for orderly room but I got dismissed with a caution. I left the base on Friday 24th Aug in the usual troop-train cattle €“trucks & no room to move in them After two days travelling I got back to the Battn after being nearly six months away. I found a lot of new faces there & a good many old ones missing
The Battn were in the rest area at a small village named Vandringheim, about 6 kilos from Lumbres) We got plenty of drill & had to polish everything up to the knocker On the whole we had a good time whilst
