are all the tombs of all the nations great people. Lots of the tombs were protected by sand-bag work as protection against air-raids. Two things I took more interest in than the rest they were: The small casket with the remains of the two murdered Princes & the place where King Charles had the bones of Oliver Cromwell dug up & hung on a pole as a warning to anyone else who tried to overthrow the Monarchy. The leave ended all too quickly & I went back to Camp in a sort of dream. With all the roar of traffic & a longing to get another leave to London
