Alexandria We had to take a zig-zag course all the way on account of the danger of submarines It took us twenty-one hours to reach Alexandria which should only take eight hours in ordinary sailing. We pulled in to Alexandria about 7am on Monday 12th June. We changed boats here leaving the Hororata & going on board the R. M. S Aragon. We packed in like sardines with scarcely any room to turn round. One of the first things I did was to try & see if I could get out of the Port-hole in case we were torpedoed because I did not like my chance of getting out if I had to go up the stairs The food on board the Aragon was worse than
