Saturday, 4 February 1922

I deliver an order and meet mum with parcel and get wet trying to keep them both dry. I do all the housework.  I set out at 11.45 for P'matta I get motor to bottom of hill, motor to Spit Rd and tram to Berry St. I talk with Mrs R. and try to get out before P.P. comes home. I bandage foot and leave after ten and miss them. I pick up motor and just catch boat. I just catch train to Durham and motor to Home in time for afternoon tea with matron and Garland. I go to P'matta. To hospital carnival. More troubles etc but I go off to bed.
