Cereals are generally sold by weight.

A bushel of wheat  = 60 lbs.; barley = 52 lbs. ; oats = 40 lbs.; rye and maize = 56 lbs. A truss of straw weighs 36 lbs.; old hay, 56 lbs.; new hay, 60 lbs.

A load is 36 trusses.
