W all day

Saturday, 7 January 1922

I have nothing to do all morning. I go to I.V.S. for dinner and am sent out to the Zoo. It rains terribly & I come back to Ridge St. after about 1½ hrs at Zoo. I wait an hour but have 15 minutes bright chat with a cricketing school boy. I go to tea & the air is cooled as P.P. has got the trouble off Her mind. We three chat for a good time & then just two of us. It is very hot indoors. I am just as fidgety as ever and lose points by talking over much but I don't see why I aught when I get told off so many times.
