F. Bossilo C.B.M. makes His first sale

Tuesday, 10 January 1922

I ring P.P. Very quiet day but I manage to busy myself brushing dusting etc. P P was ever so nice on the phone, the change is remarkable. Home for tea & we all go over to Brewers. Gladys says some funny things. The girls are awfully concerned about my falling in love and they repeat lots of things & remark on our sitting together etc. I sing & the mother and one daughter snigger & the daughter asks me if I am learning singing. I hear of it all afterwards & feel an awful fool. Thelma leaves the room when they all snigger. We go for a stroll afterwards. She is ever so sweet & nice & I am sure from Her ways that she likes me very much for a start anyhow. I am trim fig.
