This is not very much in the way of news I can in fact inflict on you.We are now out of the line and in reserve for a spell. The change is most welcome We had more than we wanted of the Jordan Valley and Jerico.and the land of Gallilee & Massada(?) and were not a bit sorry to once more climb the hills of Judea.
The difference between the climate up around Jerusalem and that of Jerico is like to the difference between Sydney in summer and the Blue Mountains - only more so.
We have a man in our Company who is half or three quarters black
