My own sweet darling,

You don't know lovely it was getting your two letters together this morning. You seem to be getting on alright for which I am very thankful. You must be having a   great time with the dogs. I thought I told you in my letter that I went round to Bill Mackinlay's place for tea on Sunday evening. I have started my other book but dont likt it very muc h. I suppose Jim told you about the doctors scheme; building on his ground but I don't see much advantage to Jim in that line. He does not seem to me to know what he wants or shat to do. Anyhow we can see about that later. I am very restless just at present and am just counting the hours till your return. I am just  [indecipherable]
