Doulieu arrived there same day left Doulieu Aug 14 for Estaires where we spent a pleasant time if a quiet time, we left Estaires on Sept 22nd for Armentiers & we took over a dressing station at another school Sept 23rd visited the trenches & went into the front line & saw the German Trenches 250 yards away through a periscope, found the trenches very interesting indeed but things were very quiet in this sector. left Armentiers Oct 14th & arrived Strazeele in Motor Lorries & Ambulances we had some great feeds of Blackberries which were very plentiful about here left Strazeele for Baillieul
