in fulfilment of this Royal Instruction,
it becomes us, as Christians to remember the
holy commandment of the King of Kings
the Saviour of the world, binding on us
in relation to the aborigines of the noble
country in which we have found a home,
"Go ye into all the world; and
preach the Gospel to every creature."
The Christian Churches in Australia
have a solemn responsibility yet to be
discharged towards the Australian heathen.
May the glorified Head of the Church
inspire us and our fellow Christians
in this land with the zeal, the wisdom
and the enduring love, which are requisite
for the fulfilment of our duty in this
respect! Amen.
