The drivers all got in last night with guns. no casualitys Raining heavily all A & B. sub-gunners left walking for the new poss. near Guillmont. Bomb. North and I stopped to take baggage up on G.S. waggon. We had a rough trip into our Bty. near Ginchy “Deaths Valley" past Guillmont. Fell down shell hole got wet.</p><p>Written on side: Very rough day went about without trousers</p><p>[The following entry has been totally crossed out:</p><p>On Guard to-day rain cleared off. Beautifull day Rec 4 letters two papers and long waited for medal from [indecipherable] Ten aeroplanes passed over this morning towards Lille. Came off guard 6 A.M. did some writing bed early read papers.<br />This was written last month in mistake still raining a lot.]</p>
