<p>[Page 173]<br />Nov 8 Wed We arrived here Viux Berquin last night 11.30. P.M. Rain cleared off Revallie at 7 A.M. Beautiful day. I took mess orderly on no one in all day for meals Bought some cards & handkerchiefs to send away. Not a bad village here. the Left Section are expected to-night. Had a good tea plenty of steak after went to the Pictures. Visited the old church.</p><p>Nov 9 Thur Revallie at 6 A.M. all packed up had breakfast & out on the road at 9 A.M. all mounted on Limbers and horses The 14th Brigade moved off all together went about 8 miles and stopped in billet at L’Ecleine. Passed through Merville and by old Neath Forrest. Plenty water on the road. Rum issue motor Lorry stuck in Ditch</p><p>Written on side: Twelve months to-day since I Rec. a letter from Mrs Knowles</p>
