Sambaya is the Fruit of a Tree which grows in Java, and is there accounted  such a Sovereign remedy against Poison, that it is sold at a very high Price.T

An aromatick Fruit brought from the East Indies and used in Medicine, but to what Plant it belongs is unknown

Cardamomum Majus Officinarum.  Bauh. pin. 413

Another aromatic Fruit brought from the East Indies similar to the former, but the produce of a different Plant.

Myrobalanus indica nigra.  Linn. mat. med. 505.

Myrobalanus bellirica.  Linn. mat. med. 506.

Myrobalanus critina. Linn. mat. med. 508 

13.

Myrobalanus chebula.  Linn. mat. med. 507.

These Myrobalans are Fruits brought from the East Indies, and used in Medicine.  They belong to 4 different Trees which are unknown to Botanists.
