<p>[Page 34]<br />4 Fri We left Colombo about 2 a. m this morning. Took in a big supply of coal enough for the trip Natives loaded coal with bags by hand. Steering due west now sea calm One or two Tramp steamers about.</p><p>5 Sat No sign of land anywhere now. Very mild climate here cool breeze. The &ldquo;Kraoola&quot; passed us at Colombo with wounded on board and the &ldquo;Orsova&quot; yesterday with seriously wounded on board both making Australia. We all got a supply of Bananas &amp; cocoanuts at Colombo.</p>
