<p>[Page 34]<br />4 Fri We left Colombo about 2 a. m this morning. Took in a big supply of coal enough for the trip Natives loaded coal with bags by hand. Steering due west now sea calm One or two Tramp steamers about.</p><p>5 Sat No sign of land anywhere now. Very mild climate here cool breeze. The “Kraoola" passed us at Colombo with wounded on board and the “Orsova" yesterday with seriously wounded on board both making Australia. We all got a supply of Bananas & cocoanuts at Colombo.</p>
