<p>[Page 29]<br />January 25 Tues Arrived Freemantle about 7 a.m. Very small harbour. Stayed till 3 P.M. during which time all went ashore Our Unit on Guard so I was unable to see Perth. Went round Freemantle with Gnr. Parry Fine town good tram system.</p><p>26 Wed Left seven deserters in Port yesterday Picked one man up. We are steering in a North westerly course now. We have seen the last of Australia&rsquo;s sunny shores for a while. Right out on the deep blue sea, The Indian Ocean. She is fairly calm so far.</p>
