<p>[Page 55]<br />March 17 Fri St. Patrick Not much green flying about I suppose the colors are hard to get. I am in with a very mixed lot of men up here and, they are a bit on the rough side. Our O.C. went to town to secure some materiall for H. Quarters Rec. First letter since arr. yesterday.</p><p>March 18 Sat Very windy dusty day Leuit. Humphries brought our Signalling flags from town and we started some Morse signalling, But Rain prevented us from doing much. 3.30 P.M. Got word from H. Quarters to pack kit and Parade in full dress. Am transfered with Victor Wyat into 2nd Battery 1st A.F.A. Bgd. Rec letter from Mona, Mollie &amp; Marg. Butter. Took up New Quarters 6.30. P.M.</p>
