<p>[Page 51]<br />March 9 Thur I with 30 others all Rear and Baggage Guard were told off this morning as Head Quarter Staff. and given 4 seperate tents, our own cook and attached to the 21st Howitzer Brigade. We marched out on the Plain. Put through a signalling test. We have a very decent Leifftenant.</p><p>10 Fri Breakfast, porrige &amp; Bacon, tea, Bread &amp; Jam Pearce &amp; Downey have taken the cooking on for head Quarters.. The 14/1 &amp; others Reinf. have been all split up and put in Howitzer and F. A. Brigades all over the place. The D.A.C. are still at Zeitoun. We expect to leave for Foreign lands shortly.</p>
