<p>[Page 117]<br />July 19 Wed Lecture this morning by the Sergeants. Fell in went down to Bullrink Every time we go down we see 4 or 5 soldiers going to their last resting place in the little cemetery and hear the &quot;Last Post&quot; being blown. Went to Concert at Y.M.C.A. with Toner.</p><p>July 20 Thur Took a walk round to the 29th 30th &amp; Pioneer Bat lines to see the great work (decorating outside tents) Corp. Barrie, and Gnrs Toner Smith &amp; Slade came also. Fell in after breakfast all went for route march through the fields. 12 A.M. Fell in to go to the Bullrink, came back tired. Made some custard. Did some writing. No mail yet Had a bath. Bed early</p>
