<p>[Page 75]<br />Apr 26 Wed Has been an extra hot day Paraded sick this morning got a couple of pills, and stayed in all day New Canteens for Artillery opened Got some Beerah. have lost my appertite Alex Gun made me some coffee (he is a very decent chap) Grey went into Cairo. Big boat passed through the Canal.</p><p>Apr 27 Thur Paraded sick again with Sgnt. Mjr. and The Clark in Office. Had another day in. Fairly warm again and Flys very bad. We have a new man in our tent now Johnstone The others are Collings, Burling, Grey, Lloyd Kerr, Gaskell & Gun. Very fine lot of chaps. We have a good few horses now.</p>
