Halliday (the &ldquo;Osterley&quot; chaplin) called in to see one of the Officers. The cooks here look after me. Best living since leaving Australia.</p><p>Oct 8 Sun Raining nearly all day. Inspection at 10.30 attended Mass in 57 Battalion Billet and went to Confession. Had long talk with two of our raiders who go over into Fritze&rsquo;s trenches and do all the damage they can and gain imformation on no duty to-day.
