A.M. with 7 others & a N.C.O. started work at O.P. diging trench for cable 6 feet deep 2’ wide at top 6" at bottom 32 of us working all together We did well. Back at 3.30 P.M. Went on Guard Raining. All paid to-night £ 1.8.0 Had some mouth organ music in billet</p>
