<p>[Page 187]<br />Dec 6 Wed Still misty Worked on Pit all day my cold had me raving a bit last night dreaming about kangaroos etc. cleaned gun and straightened pit up. Gnr Spencer joined Bty. Reinf. from Aust. came over from England. 6 of us in A. Sub. with Sgnt. Edwards</p><p>Dec 7 Thur We did a bit more to our Ammunition dump and I cleaned the gun well I rather like Limber Gunners job. interesting work. and no other duty except guard somtimes. No.6 gun 54th Bty. had a premature burst in the bore last night. and the gun was taken out to ordinance to day. got bogged going out and lost one horse.</p>
