<p>[Page 186]<br />Dec 4 Mon Working well on Pit Fritz has been keeping very quite lately and we have not been doing much shooting. But we allways seem to put more over than Fritz. As we are building Pits here now we must be holding this front for the winter. We all have big thigh boots now. they are O.K.</p><p>Dec 5 Tues We have our pit nearly finished five of us worked on all the time. B. Sub. are started their Pit. Sgnt. Stead is now Act. S.M. Rec. two parcels from Father and Mother Lasseeters & Griffiths Bros. Bosker parcels State Express cigarettes Butter scotch cakes chocolates chewing gum plum pudding and every thing one could wish for We all enjoyed same.</p>
