<p>[Page 182]<br />Nov 27th All going well yet. We have decent dug-outs here not shellproof. Beautifull sunny day. Had a chance to dry our clothes and clean up a bit. I wore my drawers and shirt round my loins&nbsp;Aust.-Scottish style&nbsp;Two aeroplanes down to-day and plenty of shells close to our Battery. (about 4 casualitys in Bty.) Jim Gordon wounded</p><p>Nov 28th Very misty ground getting a little dryer our guns here are out in the open with a light cover over them. We have to walk down about 500 yds. along duck boards for our rations Took a man to dressing station scalded arm. I am on guard to-night with Bomb. Law &amp; J. Burges We are living fairly well Rum issue about twice a week</p>
