& after they had been in that sector for aab about four days Fritz raided them somewhere about 22nd January 1917 causing a fair number of casualties We had to stand to in our billets which were in an old Hospital in Armentiers We relieved the 36th two days afterwards & continued to relieve one another to my knowledge uptill I was wounded on 10th March 1917 I got a bullet through the arm & at the time I thought a sledge-hammer had struck me I ran to our Aid Post which was in an old house near Battn Hd Qrs & after the Dr had a go at it & pulled it about a lot he
