I can't tell you much of my journey East of Suez. Such a proceeding would be Censurable & the lines censorable.   I saw the old trenches held by the British when the Turks attacked the Canal 17 month ago.   Then once out on the desert the only thing to see were the smudges of smoke from the  [indecipherable] in the Canal the flickering mirage & an odd glimmer of white dob which were tents in the distance.
