Your sweet letter of May 23 duly to hand and its good to see your writing again.   I'm so pleased to hear you are getting on so well and I'm delighted to hear Anne is resting up the Vale.   I wish she could have 6 months there.

But don't you overwork your little self.   Theres plenty of time.   Don'y worry and dont get impatient.

Of course you know I'm a Major.Promotion gazetted today.(tempy) but will I trust be confirmed shortly. And we are  cavalry  my dear not just Light Horse, but  Cavalry with Swords
