I received two very delightful and entertaining epistles form Tien yesterday, one from Adelaide and one from Melbourne.   She seems to be having a rare time.   I only wish I could be nearer and sharing in her successes. I have had a letter from Jean which I received just as we started  out to   Shibat Niurim (?)  Tell her to forgive my dilatoriness but I make great efforts to answer every letter I receiive and she will be the last to be neglected. I made a joke on Nusell**** but as I told it to Tien in my letter to her I'll not duplicate it. Sshe must inflict it on the family.   There a stack of letters at my elbow clamoring for attention so I must quit. Give mother & Anne & Jean & Tien  and all the folk my best love. I'll be home someday soon.
