8/ When I returned here and I got my pannier & baggage & within were a batch of letters that arrived just before we started out to cross the Jordan. These I have only had time to read and not answer. Yours of January 29 is amongst them and yesterday I received another by mail from Australia, yours of  April 5 being included!   I was very glad to get it and   to get the home news. I was so sorry to hear that Anne had had such a bad time. I do hope she is now well again. She really must nurse herself and do as little work as she possibly can.
