is a Cross to the Memory of the 47 London division who captured it also many others for men who fell arround it we slept in a dug  out which was once used by the Germans & it was not as clean as it might have been as regards to creeping things.   Oct 28th   Rainbow over Battle field a contrast of Gods work & mans   Oct 29th Rained nearly all day got wet through fixing up our dug out which almost colapsed & let the water in.   Also fixed up an unknown soldiers grave which was getting knocked about made a wooden Cross as the other one was broken also drained the water off & mounded
