Up late again. Did some reading Rec. three parcels and letters from home & Mr Hiney. Took Mr Blaskies lunch up to O.P. one spot on road in machine gun plays on. Had a look at German lines from O.P. Worked untill 12 mid-night unloading ammunition.</p><p>Aug 27 Sun Up and took report to H.Q. by 9 A.M. Continued my duties as mounted orderlie. Took dispatch to H.Q. & Sailie did some fast riding on old bike Broken day, little rain Rec. a letter from H. Sims. Inspection of gass helmets. Rum on before turning in last night. We unloaded 6 wgns loads.</p>
