I send letter and Hankys for M to arrive this day her birthday. I ring Mr Bolton. There is no tram and I walk to Manly. I catch 7.45 boat. I meet K and P.P. after a long wait (5 boats). I take their luggage. They open bags and take some goods out. P.P. says that "I am good sort". I remark people repay the good sorts in a funny way. I buy stockings and deliver to P.P's. I get to work at 9.15 am. I go home, recut skirts and baste Costume Coat, Sailor's joy and music.
