After leaving Etaples, & arriving at a little station named Abeele, somewhere near the Belgium frontier, I spent a couple of days at a re-inforcement camp. From here I marched to Steenvoorde, where I became attached to the 7th Aus. Field Ambulance. We then marched in stages, stopping for a night at Noordpreene; [Noordpeene] two nights at Tilques, another good days march & we entrained at Arques, & arriving at St we moved on to where we billeted for another day.
