for doing so ever since, as it proved to be the last our squad was called upon to carry that night. Had I known this, I think I should have struggled through with it somehow. But I have the consolation of knowing I was not the only one to go out to it that night.
Yet with it all one finds plenty of time to laugh. Many a time we have got ourselves into giggling fits over our misery & misfortunes, & minor accidents usually present a funny side. One of our cheif occupations is to keep the "chats" on the move. We have a daily hunt, & no-one
