shops & trams again – got back to Ribemont Station at 9.30 very tired & were starting the march 'home' when a lorry came along & we hopped on & got a lift right into Basieux.
One wouldnt recognise this as the same country of 4 months ago – It is
got just one landscape of green crops with a few brown patches of ploughed ground the fruit trees in the farms & along the roads are in full blossom
a farm near here had the thresher going yesterday
of course it drew being worked as usual by the whole farmers family
