Alloted to specially divided & equal strength companies; no movement yet made. Silent stunt from 2 to 6 a.m.
16th Thursday
Very cold. Day quiet, nothing doing. Beautiful sunshine and much milder. Silent 1-4 a.m.
17th Friday
Day quiet & beautifully bright. Orders restricted re evacuation. Mines connected with wires to No. 2 tunnels. Tea the only cooked rations for evening meal. Big fire at Anzac from midnight. Weather Cloudy & Foggy.
