Nov. 1st Monday
Very strong wind during Sunday night to midday with clouds. Beautiful afternoon following. Mail in mainly papers. Front very restless till Garlands were fired over from 8-15 till about 9-30 p.m.
Nov. 2nd Tuesday
Weather Bright but sharper. Took 4 Photoes with No. 1 Sigs. borrowed Camera, viz., 1. Dugouts of 18 Batt. Gulley, 2. Courtney's Post from 18 Gulley, 3. Quins Post new Cook houses, 4. My own Dugout. Much Gun fire about 4 to 6 p.m., otherwise front quiet.
Nov. 3rd Wednesday
Still beautiful weather, front quiet. Beachy busy.
