I have just heard that Estaires a little town about 2 miles from here also got it pretty hot today

5 years today since I left England

Quite a red letter day – Mail – & also I had a hot bath at the Nations Expense A big Laundry at Sailly has been turned into the 'Divisional Baths' so as opportunity occurs the troops can have a hot bath. Thirty of us who were off duty went down. When we entered we stripped off our tunics & trousers & these were tied up with our identity
