Pulled back to Pommiers over a fortnight ago but was at once taken sick with an influenza chill – was relieved of my team & have been 'laid up' back with the Company at Becondel in a 'Bivvy' – a pretty miserable time – couldn't eat the army rations & have been dieting myself as best I can on
