Egypt May 29th arr. in Eng. June 8th & am now just about to box on with the Huns.
This is not a bad place this England (Christchurch) but France would be much better than this drilling business.
Today they gave us just what we needed for the front. We are not allowed to leave the camp in case we leave any minute.No stopping in the camp for me so out I went dodged the police & over the fence.

Orders came through very early this morning that we were to leave
