Nothing much doing the last few days. I heard tonight that we had let the Turks [indecipherable] bridge over the Jordan & send two aeroplanes over & then we landed a big shell fair in the middle of the bridge & smashed it & took the two companies prisoner

Some of these lads here get hold of some weirde ideas to amuse themselves now & again; the other day two "dags" were on leave in Cairo
