On the last day on which I wrote we reached Talut ed Dune, a spot - & a very dirty one at that – in the hills about a mile or two in the hills towards Jerusalem.
Here we languished & Hope nearly died but finally on the 15th we left for Jerusalem which we reached just as it was breaking dawn after a very tedious & slow trek. The next evening we started down the Bethlehem Road passed through Bethlehem – the modern Brit Lahm
