Each egg is cracked & then smelt dubiously as long as they dont smell, we eat them but they vary in colour from the moderately fresh egg to one that has no distinctive parts but spills into the Frying pan like one gory mess however they taste all right. Occasionally we get a doubtful one in which case everyone has a sniff & a ballot is taken...
