Off again at 6 am. Very cold. Strong wind blowing. Roads very dusty & stoney. Travelling thro hilly country very uninteresting. Came through a long valley between hills. Very fertile & fresh water, river running down middle of it. Watered at this river. Went about 2½ miles further & camped at 11 am. Still very windy. Village nearby.
